Death Can't Make Me Leave (Self PG-13)

Eridan wandered the plains, just trying to find something to distract himself from everything that had happened. In his past and the present. He sighed and flopped down into the tall grass, just letting the heat from the day engulf his fur. He was happy that he didn't spend the days coped up anymore. He enjoyed the warmth the sun gave him, and yet... He missed the water, and being able to breath in it. He missed having fun with Feferi, bickering with Sollux. It was a funny thought. He hated Sollux, with a passion no one could meet, and for some reason... He missed his stupid lispy voice. He missed Alternia, though that was long gone. He missed the meteor, and his bed. He missed hearing Karkat rage on and on about nothing, he missed Terezi, Vriska, Equius, Nepeta, Tavros, Gamzee, Aradia, and Kanaya.

Kanaya. He had killed her along with Feferi, his one love. He was a monster wasn't he? He sighed, grabbing his Science wand which he kept in his scarf. He sat up, snapping it in half and throwing it across the field. It didn't work anyways. The one he had that did work, Kanaya took when she came back to life. She wanted to kill him, but something made her not. She instead, banished him here, to learn hope and how to enjoy his life. It was a fitting punishment for someone who was so hopeless. Especially being the Prince of Hope. He sighed and rolled over onto his back to stare at the clouds.

Kanaya sat, watching Eridan. A glum look had made it's way across her face long ago, not only because of the struggle Eridan was going through, but because of the fact it was her fault. She sent him here for her and the others safety. Once she got a free spot and was sure that the others would be fine with out her, she made a run to take care of Eridan and see how he was holding up. She really did feel terrible about everything that happened. (Will add more later)
