Toby slapped his empty shot glass down on the counter in front of him, as the thunderous roar of cheering and applause came from the men and woman surrounding him. "Well, Jerry, that's twenty-five shots! You gonna pay up now, or should I come back when you actually have some money, hmm?" The crowd surrounding Toby laughed, and he grinned. Jerry, the guy who had just lost the bet, grumbled as he pulled out a crumpled twenty dollar bill and handed it over. "Yeah, that'll teach you to try and bet with the drinking king!" Toby laughed, and the crowd laughed along with him. He was living life, baby, and it felt good. Of course, the buzz from all the drinks might have been one of the reasons he was feeling so good, and he knew he wouldn't be feeling so well in the morning. But for now, he was just gonna enjoy the rush.

Hmm. This place wasn't exactly what Siren had in mind when she had asked a friend for a good place for a 'fun night out'. Of course, she should have known that Estrella wouldn't have known about any of the types of places that Siren enjoyed. And this dirty, humble little bar - full of screaming, shouting, loud, drunken people, no less - was definitely not a place that Siren would enjoy.

But as her eyes roamed the bar, she did catch site of something that peaked her interest; a man. Sitting on a stool at the bar, surrounded by a crowd of people with several empty shot glasses in front of him, he shone with a masculine aura that was exactly what Siren was looking for. Tossing her hair, which at the moment was a dark, blood-red in color, floating nearly halfway down her back in delicate curls, she made her way over to the where the man sat. Nudging aside a drunkenly giggling blonde and ignoring her protests, Siren took a seat next to the man. Extending one long, flawless leg, she twisted his bar stool so that he was facing her. Long, thick eyelashes fluttered seductively over her emerald green eyes as she gazed up at him unabashed.

"Hey, handsome." Her voice was low and smooth, like honey, and carried an unspoken invitation that the man was sure to pick up on. "You shouldn't be wasting your time in a crummy bar like this. I'm on my way to a nightclub, but I'd enjoy some company. How 'bout it?"

In the middle of his gloating and basking in the glory that was rightfully his, Toby felt his chair being spun around. He opened his mouth, ready to yell at whoever it was that had dared to touch him, but changed his mind when he saw the culprit. A drop-dead gorgeous girl with hair the color of fresh blood and eyes that seemed to pierce right through him was looking up at him through dark, luscious lashes. In an instant, the gloating, bragging Toby disappeared, and Toby the Charmer took his place.

"Well, hey there, Killer Eyes. I've never seen eyes such a beautiful green color before." He gazed into them, feeling lost for a moment. At her words, he grinned. "Of course, I couldn't let such a gorgeous girl go clubbing alone...some guy is bound to try to defile your honor. I better come alone to protect you." Taking her hand, he raised it to his lips and pressed his lips to it in a soft kiss. "The name's Tobias Greene, Killer, and I'm at your service, for whatever it is you may need."

Oh, yes, Siren had made an excellent choice. He was charming as well as masculine, and yet she could tell he would give her what she wanted by the time the night was over. Of course, Siren wasn't just going to pull the guy into the alley and do the deed. No, she wanted to have some fun first. She'd show him what real partying was, and then take him home and show him a passion he could never have imagined in all of his life.

"I'm sure you wouldn't have." She winked, briefly closing one of the eyes he was gazing at so admiringly. "The only people I've known to have eyes this color have come from my rather...unique race." She found it ironic that he called her Killer, even though it was meant to be referring to her eyes. Most people who called her a killer meant it in quite a more literal form. But perhaps, if Toby, as he called himself, pleased her enough, there would be no other reason for him to call her 'Killer' than her eyes. After all, she was a halfling; she didn't need to kill every single man she was with like the others. She was part human, and their rules only half applied to her.

"Trust me, Toby, you'll serve my needs just fine." Siren licked her lips slowly, giving the illusion that she was simply wetting them because they were dry, while at the same time drawing the attention of every male in the room. She could practically feel the heat of their passion, and it filled her with elation. She knew exactly what she did to men, and she loved it. "And the name's Siren, although you can call me Killer if you like. I actually rather like it."

Toby couldn't believe how amazing this girl was, and how lucky he was that she had chosen to come up to him. She was clearly seducing him, but in a way that made her seem anything but a whore. Of all the girls that he had seen attempt to do what she did without looking like a slut, all had failed - save for her...Siren.

"You wanna leave now?" Toby motioned towards the door. "I came with friends, but I rode in my own car; we can leave whenever you're ready. Is there a particular club you wanted to go to?"

A soft chuckle escaped Siren's lips as she saw the way that Toby was unable to take his eyes off of her. "I do believe you like what you see, don't you, Toby?" Siren leaned over ever so slightly so that the tight, sleeveless top that she wore slid down even lower than it was already set, showing more cleavage than it originally had...which was a lot. Siren enjoyed dressing in a way that attracted attention; like the skirt she was wearing with the top - short, tight, and sexy.

"Oh, nothing in particular. As long as I can dance and get a good drink I'll be happy. I do know of a new club that opened up a short while ago, and it's not too far from here. They're pretty exclusive, but I'm sure I could get us in." She winked again. "Bouncers seem to love me, you know."

Tearing his gaze away from her eyes, Toby found his gaze wandering over her body, and pausing at her chest. At her words, he looked back up into her eyes, smiling, unashamed that she had caught him staring at her breasts. "Oh, most definitely." He smirked. "There's nothing on you that isn't pleasing to the eyes, Killer."

A burst of laughter tore its way through his lips at her next comment. "Oh, I bet everyone loves you. You probably get special privileges everywhere you go, just by winking and showing a bit of that beautiful skin of yours, huh?" He hopped down from his seat, and grabbed Siren's hand. "My car's parked right out back...let's go find that club of yours."

It was obvious that Toby was helpless to her feminine allure. He was a lady's man, that much she could tell. But even the greatest lady's man was no match for a siren...even one whose blood had only half the potency of a full-blooded siren. She was able to change her form into any shape, size, and color in order to find a form that was pleasing to the man she was attempting to sway. Perhaps 'attempting' wasn't the right word, though. 'Attempting' implied that she may or may not succeed; Siren always succeeded in getting her man.

"I do," Siren waved a hand nonchalantly. "It doesn't really matter. Any girl can get special privileges if she flashes her breasts or opens her legs for a man. I don't stoop so low as to become a common slut who'll sell her soul to be first in line at the fast food joint. However, when it comes to something I want," she leaned close, letting Toby smell the expensive perfume and the sweet raspberry scent of her hair. "I have my ways of getting it. And tonight, I want you. So you'd better be ready...because I'm gonna have you before this night is out, Toby. You think I'm wrong? Just wait and see."

Allowing Toby to take her hand, she interlaced her fingers with his. "Shouldn't be too hard to find. Just look for the flashiest, most exclusive looking nightclub there is; that'll be the place for me."

Her bold and sultry manner was getting to Toby. Oh, was it getting to him. "Trust me, Killer. I believe you. Anything you want from me tonight...you'll get it."

He opened the door for her, and then led her to his car. "Can do. Is there a certain direction you wanted me to head, though? Or should I just drive around until I find something flashy?"

Ha! Siren knew that she had a way with men, and it pleased her immensely. While other girls could attempt her bold, confidant approach, few, if any, would succeed without looking like a common whore. But when Siren did it, she simply appeared to be something of value, something that every guy wanted. She was used to it, of course, but it still felt good.

Climbing into the car, she bit her lip thoughtfully. "Hmm...I believe it's north." She waited while Toby got the car started, and then started looking for a good nightclub. When she saw one, she asked him to stop. "Right there...that's where I want to go."

Toby headed north, but his attention was hardly on the road or on finding the club. He kept glancing at Siren, unable to keep his eyes off of her for more than a minute or so. Her flawless, creamy skin held his attention quite well, as did her ruby red lips.

When she pointed out the club, he nodded. "Looks good to me." After parking, he ran to the other side of the car to get Siren's door for her. "After you, Killer."

Siren smiled up at Toby, fluttering her eyelashes in just the right way to leave him in awe. "Thanks, sweetie." She patted his cheek fondly and took his offered hand, stepping out of the car. Despite her stiletto heels, she had no problem walking at a rather fast pace up the sidewalk towards the club. The clicking of her heels on the pavement was a familiar and rather enjoyed sound, and Siren grinned when she caught Toby admiring her shapely legs, knowing that they appeared longer with the aid of the heels.

"Do you have money to get in?" Siren turned towards Toby questioningly.

As she walked in front of him, Toby couldn't help but stare at her long, luscious legs. And then his gaze moved a bit upwards, and...oh, yeah. There was no way he was letting her go home alone tonight. Not that she wanted to, of course. She had made that absolutely clear. "Yeah, I got money," Toby said, as he moved into the rather long line. "It's gonna take us forever to get in though."

"Silly boy," Siren chuckled. "Did I forget to tell you that I could get in faster than most people? Or did you just forget that I told you?" Moving to the front, pushing past the girls that started shrieking and shouting out obscenities at her, Siren smiled up at the bouncer. "Hey there, big boy. How about letting me and my brother here," she motioned towards Toby. "Get in, hmm?"

The bouncer was about to say something, when he saw who it was that had spoken. He took of his shades and whistled. "Well, of course, gorgeous. For your number, you can even get in free." Siren giggled, and handed him a napkin, which she had already written a fake number on. "There ya go, handsome. Call me later, hmm?" Pressing a kiss to his cheek, Siren walked past, letting out a stifled shriek and a giggle as he slapped her ass on her way past.

"Oh, that's right." Toby started to laugh, but his laugh instantly vanished when he saw the way the bouncer was checking out Siren. And then when Siren said that Toby was her brother, he was about to explode. The bouncer slapping Siren's butt on the way out of line, and the last straw. Toby pulled his fist back, ready to slam it into the guy's face. Nobody touched the girl he had come with...nobody.

In an instant, Siren had caught Toby's fist. "What are you doing?" she hissed in his ear. "Come on, before you get kicked out." She turned towards the bouncer, who was looking angry. "Sorry, he's overprotective. You know how brothers are, don't you?" The bouncer waved them in, and Siren pulled Toby along with her. Turning towards him, hand on her hip, she said, "Okay, now what was that about?"

"What do you mean, what am I doing? What are you doing? You're here with me, and yet you just flirted with him, gave him your number, and let him grab your ass! You expect me to just sit back and watch that?" Toby glared back at the bouncer, partly wanting to go and beat him for touching his girl.

Siren sighed, and put a hand on Toby's chest. Looking into his eyes, she pursed her lips in a slight pout. "C'mon, you know I was just trying to get us into the club. Trust me, Toby...you're the only one here I want to be with." Pressing him against the wall, she kissed him, pressing her body against him so that he could feel her curves. Once she felt him responding, and knew that he was no longer upset, she pulled back and grinned up at him. "Besides, the number was a phony. Let's go dance, okay?" She started pulling him towards the dance floor, eager to finally dance.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean-" Toby's words were cut off as Siren pushed him against the wall and kissed him. After his shock wore off, Toby pulled her close and kissed her back. Just when he started to get into it, though, she pulled away. At the thought of a phony number, Toby chuckled. "Sure, let's go." He let Siren pull him, having to pretty much run to keep up with her. When they got onto the floor, Toby hesitated a moment, unsure of hat to do. Toby hadn't danced much, although he knew how, and he was a bit nervous about it.

Toby seemed to be hesitating, but Siren wasn't. Lifting her arms above her head, she swayed her hips and allowed her body to move with the rhythm of the music. When Toby still didn't start dancing, Siren laughed. "Oh, c'mon, it's not that difficult. Here," Siren took hold of his hands and placed them on either side of her waist. "Feel how I'm moving? Can you feel the rhythm of the music? Just follow it, and you'll be fine." Once he was moving, and his eyes were on her, Siren lowered her arms in order to run her hands over her body sensually, inviting him with her eyes.

The way Siren danced definitely got to Toby. When she moved his hands to her waist, all he wanted to do was grab her and pull her to him and kiss her like there was no one around. But he knew that she wanted to dance, so he started moving, trying not to look stupid. Her hands ran over her body enticingly, and Toby inwardly screamed with need. He pulled her a bit closer, so that her body was against his as they danced together.

Moving against him, Siren felt sexy, and free, and ready to have some fun. It wasn't exactly a foreign feeling to her, but it still felt just as good every time she felt it. When the song ended, Siren realized that she was thirsty. "Let's go get a drink." She grabbed his hand once again and headed towards the bar. When they got there, Siren leaned against the counter, too tired from dancing to even lift herself onto the stool. "Yeah, can I get a Sex on the Beach, please?"

Toby followed Siren; something that was becoming habit tonight. Seeing that she made no move to lift herself onto the chair, which seemed rather high, he lifted her up, gently setting her onto the seat. "Make that two," he told the bartender, pulling out some money to pay. "So, where ya from, Killer?" It had taken him a while, but he finally realized that he knew nothing about the girl he was about to spend the night with. It didn't bother him, but since Siren was the only one who had affected him this way in such a long time, he wanted to know at least a bit about her.

Siren giggled when Toby lifted her up, and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek. "Thanks, doll." She spun around to face the bartender as he gave her the drink, smiling at Toby in thanks for paying. After taking a sip, she licked her lips, knowing that Toby would be watching the motion carefully. "You know what? That doesn't matter. I've decided I'm sick of this place. Let's go back to your place, hmm?"

The motion of her tongue running over her lips made Toby feel completely ready to take her up on her invitation. "I'm feeling the exact same way. Let's go." He grabbed her hand, helped her off of the stool, and ran out to the car. As they made their way back to his apartment, he couldn't wait for everything the night held for them. Some how, he knew that this was going to be the best night of his life. Not to mention one he would never regret.
