Tula x Poison [Jobie/Amanda784] {DONE}

Tula had always loved parties, and this one was no exception. It was dusk, and the air was just beginning to cool as the jackalope approached the host burrow. There were other jackalopes arriving as well, but Tula just wanted to get inside and start mingling in there. She could hear music coming from inside the burrow as she approached. She finally reached it and was greeted by one of the greeter jackalope before being let in. Inside, it was dim and there were other jackalope bodies dancing to the beat. Tula began to dance with the others right away, singing along with the music that pounded in her ears.

Poison loved the sound of the pounding music. She sat for a moment, in front of the burrow, just listening to it. Things like this excited Poison. She loved the excitement. She felt it, well, differently. It felt like happiness to her. That, was a feeling she rarely felt. So in the mean time she spends her times partying to get that feeling, a substitution, you might say. This party particularly excited Poison. It felt slightly, different, even joyful, maybe. She slowing entered the burrow, taking it all in.

Tula continued her dancing. As she did so more jackalopes were coming into the burrow. It seemed impossible that so many of them could fit into such a space. She briefly wondered who the host was, but she was sure glad that they were having such a party. It was fantastic with so many others. There wasn't much space left for movement, and Tula wondered if there was anyone there she knew. Probably not, but that didn't faze the jackalope. She danced with complete strangers, enjoying every moment.

Poison immediatly felt the heat from the many bodies dancing inside the burrow. The feeling of excitement grew the farther Poison went into the burrow. Poison wasn't one to dance. She was content with the feeling of excitement and the sound of laughter, but tonight was different. She soon was found herself wandering into the middle of the burrow. The music grew louder in her ears as she slowly swooshed her tail back and forth. Before she knew it, her whole body was swaying to the beat. Her eyes closed and she was taken into a completely different world. A world of dancing and fun.

Tula still continued her dancing, but she was getting warm from all the other bodies around her. She wondered if there were refreshments anywhere, but the thought was soon out of her mind as the music got faster. She bumped into another body, a female that was black and purple. She admired the others fur, the black was just so wonderful with the purple. Tula wished she had black in her fur, but was content with what she had. "Hey," she said with a nod. "You've got nice colors," she added with a wink as she continued her dancing.

Poison was startled by the voice. She suddenly felt aware of the fact she was dancing in front of a huge crowd of people. She would have been mad at the interuption, but the jackalope to whom the voice belonged was gorgeous. "Thanks," replied Poison with an awkward smile. "I love the stars in your coat." Poison continued dancing, but noticed she kept dancing towards the other jackalope. The brightness and excitement of colors in the jackalope's coat mystified Poison.

Tula smiled at the other jackalope. "Awe, thanks," she said happily. She continued to dance, but she noticed that they were now dancing towards each other, rather than at random like she had been before. It was so easy to find a dance partner for Tula, but today it was different than usual. She usually had a male or two following her around, but now she was with a female. It was cool, different. She smiled again, and laughed a little bit as they danced. "You party often? I haven't seen you around before," she shouted above the music.

"Oh, I love the parties," replied Poison, "but you won't usually find me on the dance floor. I just come for the excitement." Poison flashed a smile at the jackalope. She twirled herself around. Once again, she found herself in that world of excitement, but now, she wasn't alone. Poison let out a giggle as music swept her away. She could have swore, in that moment, she was flying.

Tula grinned, so she was one of those people who didn't dance. Dancing was the best part of a party to Tula. The rush of adrenaline from dancing so close to others, and the high she got from that adrenaline was fantastic. "I love to dance," she said with another wink. "The excitement is wonderful," Tula concurred happily. Sometimes fights broke out among the masses which, so long as you weren't the one on the receiving end, were amusing and exciting. They didn't happen too often, but when they did Tula was watching from the sidelines.

Poison continued dancing, but her beat was off. She was so distracted. She looked into the Jackalopes eyes and again caught the beat. "I don't believe I've caught your name," said Poison. She felt extremely rude for not asking before.

It hadn't occurred to Tula to ask the other jackalope's name. She was so used to not asking names, it had become habit to just not ask. Most jackalope she never saw again anyway. "Tula," she said with a happy smile. "And yours?" She glanced up, catching the other's eyes. They were dark and mysterious. It sent a thrill through her looking at those eyes, something she hadn't felt in a long time.

((Sorry, I was on vacation, and did the kits grow up while I was gone by any chance?))

This is where Poison stuttered. She hated her name. It made her sound so cruel and harsh, not that she couldn't be, but that's not who she wanted to be known as. SHe desperately searched for a new name, but found herself stuck on telling the truth. "My name is Poison, but could you possibly call me something different? Like maybe Violet? You see, Poison is such a harsh name."

((It's alright, I hope you had a good time. And they just grew up, if you wanna go check them out in my burrow, we can discuss splitting them via PM, but they are gorgeous. <3 And my character that I'm hoping to get from this breeding is named Violet. XD))

"Poison doesn't seem such a bad name," Tula pondered. "It makes you seem dangerous, or maybe like some kind of secret agent," Tula added with a giggle. "But sure, I'll call you Violet," she continued on. "Like the flower, or color," she finished with another girlish giggle. Tula continued to sway to the music as she spoke. She was never one to stand still, even during conversation.

Poison liked the sound of the new name. She had always be fond of Violets. They were always so fragile and beautiful. Poison wished she could be like that. She giggled aloud to the music. "I like this song," said Poison. (I am at this point prefering the song to be 'I just wanna run' by the downtown fiction', but if not that's fine.)

Tula paused for a moment, allowing the words of the song to register. She had been just listening to the beat and danced along with it, but at the mention of the song, she listened for words. She caught on, singing to the lyrics for a moment and bobbing her head. "Good song," she said with a smile. The music at each party she went to was usually very similar, but this one was a little different. She had already heard a few unfamiliar songs, but this one was not unfamiliar.

((I feel like maybe we should put a twist in this rp, but have no ideas at the moment. If you have one go ahead and act on it. If not, we can just continue))

Poison lost herself in the words. She began singing along and swaying to the music. It was exactly how Poison imagined flying would be. It was like the feeling that no one could ever hurt you no matter what happens. It was the feeling that Poison was going to be okay. That was not a feeling Poison had ever felt before, and she liked it.

((Alright, I've got an idea. ;) Feel free to roleplay the characters I brought in. They're just 'extras'. XP))

Tula closed her eyes as she swayed back and forth across from Poison. She quite liked the music, but another noise soon broke the silence. Tula heard shouts and her eyes snapped open, in search of the source. A little ways away from the tow females blows were flying. Two females seemed to be fighting over a male. Tula turned to Poison, her eyes wide with excitement.

No one seemed to be interfering with the fight, but rather egging them on. It needed to be stopped, before the party was ruined. Tula hopped over to the pair, attempting to get between them. "Hey," she shouted above the noise. "Knock it off, or take it outside, or something!" She pushed her way between them. Instead of listening to Tula, the two became angry with her, aiming their fury at her instead of each other. She backed away, a tiny bit of fear shining in her eyes.

"And who are you?" One of the females asked Tula. She was aiming her antlers at Tula, which was threatening.

Tula hid her fear as best she could as she stared the other down. "Someone who wants to enjoy a party," she said with a dangerous note in her voice. A few of the bystanders cheered, agreeing with her. Tula took the opportunity to look around fro Poison, wondering if she would follow her or hang back.

At seeing the fight, Poison smiled. Now this, she could do. She was known for being tough and wanted to show she could use it for good. Poison To many times, they had called her harsh, the way she could do a man's job. Today, she would change that.
Poison was right behind Tula and as soon as the jackalope challenge Tula, Poison moved to right beside her. "Why don't you two just take it outside? If not, I'm sure me and my friend could escort you out." Poison motioned to the rest of party. She was not sure if they would follow her lead, but it was worth a try.

Tula was glad Poison had her back in this. She smiled warmly at her friend, then turned back to the other two. The female who had spoken before glared at Tula and Poison. She straightened out, not wanting to make any bigger of a scene. The male wasn't worth it anyway. "Whatever," she huffed. "You and you're friend, won't have to worry. I was just leaving," she put stress on the word friend, like she thought they were more than just friends. Then she looked at the female she had been fighting. She spat at her feet, "You can have him, I changed my mind," she sneered, then hopped off with her head held high.

Tula sighed in relief, glad that the female had decided it wasn't worth it. Meanwhile, the female who had not spoken had hopped away with the male they had been fighting over. Tula rolled her eyes, then glanced at Poison. "Drama," she said dramatically with a grin. The crowd around them, the ones who had noticed the fight, seemed to forget about it when the two females had disappeared into the crowd. They were dancing once more, although there seemed to be an ominous feeling to the air.

Poison giggled. "You were so brave, Tula!" she exclaimed. "You know, girls don't usually break up fights. I'm glad we're not like them. I just wish I would have been brave and spoken first. I shouldn't have hesitated." Poison was disapointed in herself, but let it slide of her shoulder. She was at a party and she was going to have fun!

Tula felt herself blush at the compliment. "Oh, thanks," she said. "It was nothing," she added. "Who better to break up a chick fight than two chicks?" She giggled at the pun. "Don't worry about it, at least they left." She smiled. "Now we can have some fun!" She grabbed Poison by the arm to drag her back toward the dance floor. Some kind of techno beat was playing, and Tula couldn't wait to dance off the stress the fight had caused.

Poison felt another new feeling. Just what was it? Poison was nervous. She really did want to make a good impression on Tula, but why? Poison would figure that one out later. Now, It was time to dance. She definitely would.

Tula smiled warmly at Poison, glad that the other jackalope would dance with her. It was a good feeling to have found someone to dance with at a party, even if that companion was female. She nodded her head to the music, moving her body along with it as she danced with the other. It was fun to just let go and dance. The music pounded through her head as she danced. Occasionally a new song would blare from the speakers and cause her to change her dance. And dance she did.

Poison smiled back at Tula. This was probably the most fun Poison had ever had. The music and dancing made her think. She tryed to think of a time where she was this care free. A time when she wasn't worrying about were she would stay night or how she would afford food for the next day. Poison couldn't think of one. Atleast, she hasn't since she was a kit. Poison danced to the music.

Tula smiled at Poison as they danced. She laughed and sang along to the songs as she moved to the beat. She felt wild and carefree, like she did at many of the parties she went to. It was usual to enjoy herself at such events. As the night went on, Tula continued to dance with Poison. Her dancing partner was fun to dance with. And the music that pounded in her ears was good. All in all, it was a fun night, a night Tula would remember for a long time.
