Finbar is the sort of person that's never up to any good. He's an exceptionally tall fellow, a few inches over six foot with black hair tied up in a lose ponytail, and intelligent-looking brown eyes. He's a jack of all trades, and there's not many professions out there he hasn't tried his hand at. Most of the time, he sticks to poaching with the odd round of smuggling thrown in for good measure. He plans to make a profit out of Aeris while the police are too unsure of themselves to do much about anything. It's not that he's a bad person, he's just quick to take advantage of any situation in which he can make money. Oddly enough, he doesn't have a problem with the other sentient beings of Aeris, infact, some of them help him out from time to time. He's been fair with them, building up trust where he can, unlike so many others who are too nervous to even speak to the jackalope or aures! Finbar is a good friend of Monkjack and Diesel, and should be come across Jalopy he'll stop to chat with him too. Well, provided Jalopy isn't sprouting poetry or being stranger than usual. He's loyal, even if Finbar's a bit of a schemer, he won't double cross those who trust him.

And while his home is in Greystone, he does spend and awful lot of time around Bjorn and Svanhildr, he finds the two towns exceptionally interesting. The dark-haired man knows a lot about the culture and history of Aeris, picking up and patching everything together from what he's overheard and what he's been told. He adapts to situations very quickly, and there's rarely been a time where his quick-thinking nature and ability to lie through his back teeth haven't been able to get him out of any problems he's found himself in. On the rare occasion where he really is out of his depth, there's Maggie, the stout young woman could charm coal into diamonds given enough time.

An exceptionally tiny young woman, Maggie is a few inches over four foot at the most, what with her large hips and small waist it's almost impossible to mistake her for a child. Which, is rather lucky since it's one of her pet hates. She has short, curly auburn hair that's shoulder-lenth and eyes that verge on teal-coloured in the right light. Her Finbar have been dating on and off since they were teenagers, they seem to be a bit more serious lately, most people tend to regard them as that 'old married couple'. They certainly argue enough. They're an exceptionally odd couple, one dark-haired, olive-skinned and over six food tall, the other auburn with a few faint freckles on her shoulders and face, not even five foot tall. Still, they're pretty adorable whenever they're together.

Like Finbar she dabbles in various illegal trades, mostly poaching and smuggling. She's an exceptionally loud, in-your-face type of person, she speaks as she sees it and doesn't lie unless she sees some sort of benefit from doing so. Maggie won't save any of your feelings if you ask for her opinion, she's harsh, but often her insight can be rather helpful. The young woman is extremely persuasive when she wants to be, and she knows people. She's always been good at gauging reactions and deciphering what people really mean. There's been plenty of times where her rushing into everything head first has landed them all in a lot of trouble, she forgets to think things through a lot, relying on her instincts. Like Finbar she's not afraid to change and adapt, many of the tricks she's learnt over the years she got from him first. While she's a little skittish around the jackalope and aures, she's becoming more used to them as time passes.
